ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services Ltd (OAIS) was established in 1995 as a joint venture between ORIX Corporation, Japan (ORIX) and Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Ltd (IL&FS), India. In December, 2011, it became a subsidiary of ORIX Corporation Japan with the aim of expanding its presence in the growing Indian market by leveraging the knowhow and expertise that ORIX offers worldwide. ORIX operates in India through two legal vehicles ie OAIS, the Operating Company and ORIX Leasing & Financial Services India Limited (OLFS), a Non-Banking Financial Company i.e. Loan Company, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of OAIS. The Rent a Car business of OAIS is focused on round the clock ground transportation solutions rendering personalized and professional services.
